The Cincinnati Music Hall was built in 1878. It has been a
major landmark of Cincinnati for the past 135 years. It is home to the world
famous Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, May Festival Chorus and
the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. It is one of the largest concert halls in the
United States. It is on the National
Register of Historic Places.
The wonderful interior space features an acoustically balanced auditorium that seats 3500 people. The magnificent foyer welcomes guests to a voluminous interior with fabulous architectural details and a sparkling chandelier.
Today Music Hall has become the focal point of the massive
revitalization of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Directly in front of Music Hall is Washington Park which has just gone through a massive renovation.
Washington Park is now a vibrant park full of people and events. The outdoor performance stage, the great lawn, fountains, a gazebo, children’s play area and dog park welcome all to enjoy its beauty.

Last summer the park held over 20,000 people to enjoy Lumenocity, a multimedia performance of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra with amazing projections on Music Hall.
Full-size prints and more photographs of Music Hall are available as a part of my Cincinnati Collection.
